(Hey guys! Sorry it`s been so long since I`ve posted! I`ve been very busy finishing up school and, now that I`m done, I can finally start writing entries again. I don`t normally write reviews on video games, but I just had to when I played this one. I hope you guys like it! More Japanese Pop Culture stuff is on the way!)
It`s always been debated that video games are another way to express creativity and ingenuity. Continually, developers are pushing video games in a direction that we never thought possible. Many doubt that this medium can be used to create true art.
Then comes thatgamecompany (flOw, Flower) and brings with them their latest game, Journey for the PS3. What it brings is an experience unlike any other.
Should you embark on this quest or stay behind and leave it to the more adventureous types? This is my review on Journey.
(This review will, as always, be as spoiler-free as possible. Pictures are NOT mine.)
In anime, we often see that brother and sister characters often have a very close relationship, usually one of an older brother and younger sister. That older brother is protective of the younger sister, and will go to great length to do anything to help her out, further strengthening the bond. But what happens if that bond is so far gone that you haven’t so much as exchanged greetings in years? What’s more, what happens when you come to find that all this time, that your overachieving, perfect sister has been hiding the fact that she is an all-out Eroge, Anime and Manga Otaku?
a) I’d condone her for being a disgusting Otaku!
b) It’d turn me on! Siscon FTW!
c) I’d help her in any way I could.
If you chose “C”, then you’re on your way to the true route. If not, reload your last save.
Will this Anime trigger any flags or should you go straight to the bad end? This is my review of Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai.
(Note: This review will be as spoiler-free as possible, and will contain Anime and Visual Novel-related terms. If you aren’t in the know, I’ll explain them. This is all only my opinion.)
Romance, one of my favorite genre in Anime. I’ve watched many of them, but there was one I had neglected to watch for a very long time, despite hearing nothing but good things about it. I finally decided to sit down and watch it.
I can’t believe I waited this long. This is my review of Clannad.
Note: This is all my opinion. If you disagree, by all means do. This review will be as spoiler-free as possible.
It’s been some time since I’ve posted anything, as school has pretty much taken up all my free time. To those of you who read my blog, I apologize. However, I do have some good news:
– I will be receiving some new loot very soon, and I will be doing an un-boxing of those.
– I am currently working on write-up for a new entry for my Thoughts category. To give you a little hint: It deals with a long-running issue in Anime (Not much of a hint, but I hope it keeps you guessing ^^).
– I am working on a review for some Anime I have seen lately (As few as that may be due to my lack of time ^^;).
– I MAY do an entry of my room to show you all the stuff I have amassed over the years, if that is to any of your interests.
-I hope to get a new camera soon. My 6-year old Point-and-Shoot has been faithful, but I am in definite need of an upgrade, which I am sure most of you have noticed. Aiming for a DSLR, but we will see what happens.
That’s it for now. I just wanted to clarify that I am not dead or have abandon my reader(s). Please look forward to my future entries! *bows*
